A case of whooping cough was confirmed Tuesday at a Madison County Elementary School.Leslie Farris, a spokesperson for the Madison County Health Department, said she could not give the name of the school.The case identified Tuesday is the only known case in the county at this time, but parents still should be cautious, said Farris, who issued a press release on behalf of the health department.
