The Kentucky Softball Coaches Association have announced their 2008 All Star Softball Teams.

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Former Kentucky outfielder Sawyer Carroll has been named a first-team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association, marking UK’s first consensus first-team selection in program history.

The 2008 Kentucky-Tennessee All Star Series will be held at Western Kentucky University on Thursday, June 26, 2008. Games are a best of 3 series. First game at 2pm, second game at 4pm, and third game (if necessary) is at 6pm EST.

A semi pro football team has come to Eastern Kentucky and it resides in Harlan County. The Harlan County Predators will start their season on Saturday, but for many of the players its their shot at another chance.
